"HEALTHY LIVING: MANAGING ONGOING HEALTH CONDITIONS"
If you are living with with a chronic condition, sign up today for a fun, interactive course to help you manage pain & fatigue, decrease frustration, and increase fitness & self-confidence.
What: A six-week program for 2 1/2 hours once a week.
Contribution: $20 per person; $30 per couple covers Living a Health Life with Chronic Conditions book

"A MATTER OF BALANCE"
This program emphasizes the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle in order to reduce the risk of falling. Learn to view falls as controllable, the role of assertiveness in fall prevention, and simple exercises to increase strength & balance. Fall hazards in the home and how to get up & down safely will be presented by a guest therapist.
What: Eight 2-hour classes, twice a week for 4 weeks.
Contribution: $20 per person; $30 per couple covers workbook, materials & snacks.

"ENHANCE FITNESS"
This is an ongoing low to moderate level exercise class taught by a certified fitness instructor. Classes include seating & standing. Fitness assessments included at 4 month intervals.
What: 1 hour, 3 times weekly. Classes are ongoing.
Contribution:
$18 per month or $60 per 4 month session

Available to anyone age 15 and over who interacts with older adults on a regular basis, including family members and caregivers. These evidence-based suicide awareness, alertness and intervention skills training has been recognized as best practice in the field of suicide prevention and includes:
1) safeTalk - a half-day workshop that prepares you to identify persons with thoughts of suicide and connect them to suicide first aid resources.
2) ASIST - a two day skills-building training that prepares caregivers to provide suicide first aid interventions (attendance at both days is required).
