ARIZONA TAX CREDIT

Help PCOA & Reduce Your AZ Taxes at the Same Time

You can reduce your tax liability this year and help a cause you care about!

Arizona's charitable tax credit law allows you to earn a dollar-for-dollar tax credit on qualifying contributions to specific organizations if you itemize your deductions.  The state of Arizona recognizes the Pima Council on Aging as "Qualified Charitable Organizations".

You can take a tax credit of up to $200 in new charitable contributions, if you file as a single person, or up to $400, if you file jointly.

Pima Council on Aging is providing this information as a service to our friends and is not meant to be used as a formal tax guide. Please discuss any and all charitable intentions with your tax advisor

Faces of Tucson

Our beautiful "Faces of Tucson" murals will now number seven and we hope to add your loved ones, friends and colleagues to number eight. This living legacy which honors, or memorializes individuals, is a unique and lasting tribute. Come by our building and see for yourself that these tile murals are truly special.

Brochures are available. Inquiries can be made by calling Adina Wingate at 258-5067 or e-mail awingate@pcoa.org.

PCOA wants your unwanted cell phones

PCOA Wants
Your Unwanted Cell Phones

Pima Council on Aging is collecting used and unwanted cell phones with their batteries attached as a new fund-raising opportunity to benefit our services. We accept all kinds of phones; older analog phones are not as valuable to redeem as digital ones but we want as many phones as we can get. This can be a continual source of revenue to us. Please bring your used cell phones to the PCOA office at 8467 E. Broadway, north side behind Vantage West.

We thank those of you who have been supporting this fund-raising drive.

Give a Car

Give-A-Car

By donating your car, truck, boat, motorcycle or trailer, you receive a tax donation while directly helping the many frail, elderly women and men who have never needed help before but are struggling to make ends meet.

These older adults are people from all walks of life who for years have done the most to live independently and contribute to our community. Now, they need assistance to remain independent and live safely at home.

Each year donors to this program extend PCOA's ability to provide this vital service to Pima County's most vulnerable older citizens. Call the Development Department for further information to Give-A-Car, at 790-0504.

Pima Council on Aging is a 501(c)3 organization. IRS regulations regarding donated property has different variations of deductibility therefore only the amount as defined by law is deductible.
