Healthy Living with Chronic Pain

If you are living with chronic pain or are a caregiver for someone with chronic pain, register today for a fun, interactive workshop to help you understand acute and chronic pain and learn to balance activity and rest. You will learn skills to manage your emotions, pain, fatigue, and decrease frustration. Other topics include the importance of healthy eating, medications, interventions, communication, and getting a good night’s sleep.
Note: During weeks 3 to 6, participants will be led through 15 minutes of “Moving Easy” exercises selected for individuals with chronic pain.
This class meets 2.5 hours a week for six weeks:
March 6, 13, 20, 27, April 3, 10
$20 per person; $30 per couple. Contribution covers your books and program supplies. Pre-registration is required.
