The Gala

Each year friends and supporters of Pima Council on Aging come together to stand with older adults in Pima County – celebrating the good work that has been done and raising funds to continue serving the older adults who most need our help.

Unfortunately, due to recent guidelines put forward by Federal, State and local officials and ongoing concerns about the spread of COVID-19, with deep sadness Pima Council on Aging will be cancelling our April 17 Gala event at the Westin La Paloma. Your generous support was helping to build our most successful Gala to date.

First and foremost, PCOA is committed to the health and safety of older adults and those who care for them. In the current situation, the needs of older adults in our community are greater than ever before. PCOA is dedicated to continuing to meet those needs and could not do so without the many ways in which we partner with you, so thank you for being part of our team.

Members of our Gala Committee are working on an alternate plan, to an in-person event, that will still provide great visibility to our sponsors, education about how PCOA helps our community, and the opportunity to connect over a shared cause. We are sorry that we won’t be able to celebrate with you in person, but The Gala will go virtual! Stay tuned for more details.

Our generous sponsors are the foundation that makes The Gala a success! Not only do sponsors generously support the great work that PCOA does in Pima County, but they gain a broad marketing platform.
