In-Home Support

The Community Services System (CSS) provides case management and in-home help to individuals who have difficulty performing basic activities of daily living, such as dressing, bathing, toileting, etc.

The purpose of the Community Services System is to enhance the quality of life for frail, vulnerable seniors in Pima County and allow them to remain safely in their homes for as long as possible. Availability of services depends upon funding.

Services may include:

  • Adult Day Health Care
  • Case Management
  • Durable Medical Equipment & Adaptive Devices
  • Home Delivered Meals
  • Housekeeper/Chore Services
  • Lifeline Emergency Alert
  • Minor Home Repair & Adaptation
  • Personal Care
  • Respite for caregivers

Case Management and Assessment

Following an in-depth phone interview, professional social workers conduct in-home assessments to determine individual circumstances and needs, identify appropriate community resources, problem-solve and, if needed, determine eligibility for subsidized Non-Meidcal Home and Community Based Services.
