What is the PCOA HELPLINE?

PCOA’s Helpine is staffed by trained professionals who are knowledgeable about the resources and services available to seniors throughout Pima County.

If you are a senior – or a family member, friend, or caregiver to one – you can call PCOA for any reason. Our staff will do their best to assist you regardless of your concern, question, or dilemma.

Always start with PCOA; we will direct you to the resources you need.

PCOA’s Helpline also screens frail elderly and disabled adults for eligibility in the Community Services System (CSS). CSS provides in-home help to individuals who have difficulty performing basic activities of daily living, such as dressing, bathing, toileting, etc.

The purpose of the Community Services System is to enhance the quality of life for frail, vulnerable seniors in Pima County and allow them to remain safely in their homes for as long as possible. Availability of services depends upon funding.
