Various programs offer different forms of transportation and often require advanced notice for a ride. Volunteer transportation groups typically provide rides that are customized to the passenger. Public transportation has reduced fare/rates for older adults and people who are low-income.

Driving to Independence offers Older Adult Safety Assessments to determine one's safety when driving during the normal aging process. We also offer a Comprehensive Driver Evaluation with a training program to determine safety and independence in driving following a medical diagnosis. Within our program, a Certified Driver Rehabilitation Specialist works closely with physicians, families, and clients to ensure we identify methods to maintain safety and independence when driving. We are happy to provide community funding resources and transportation resources as needed.
