Driving to Independence offers Senior Safety Assessments and Comprehensive Driver Evaluation and Training program depending on one's medical diagnosis. Within this program, an Occupational Therapist/Certified Driver Rehabilitation Specialist works closely with physicians and mobility equipment vendors to assist individuals in finding ways to drive safely and independently.
National Aging and Disability Transportation Center (NADTC)
NADTC provides training and webinars designed to help communities create accessible transportation for older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers. NADTC also promotes the availability and accessibility of transportation options for older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers.
