The Arizona Department of Veterans' Services provides direct services to Veterans. The Veterans Benefits Offices help Veterans connect with their VA Benefits. There are two skilled nursing veteran home facilities, one in Phoenix and the other in Tucson, to provide short and long-term care.
There are three Veterans' Memorial Cemeteries: Sierra Vista, Marana, and Camp Navajo (near Flagstaff). The Arizona Department of Veterans' Services provides critical, state-wide coordination and technical assistance. As well as serving the public, and private sectors experiencing homelessness, building community capacity to address veteran employment, and higher education.
