Banner-University Memory Disorders Clinic

The Memory Disorders Clinic examines patients who are experiencing memory problems that may be due to one of many causes including Alzheimer’s or another dementia, stroke, depression, metabolic issues, among other issues. The Behavioral Neuroscience and Alzheimer’s Clinic focuses on patients with Alzheimer’s or another dementia and patients with behavioral problems due to a stroke, Parkinson’s disease, some head injury, or other neurological issues. Both clinics perform evaluations for patients and families. If you are not sure which clinic is appropriate for you, ask your primary care physician or call the Banner University Medical Center.

A collaborative team that includes the Desert Southwest Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, the Department of Economic Security Aging & Adult Services, Arizona State University, and the Area Agencies on Aging, is partnering on the EPIC program.

The EPIC Early-Stage Partners In Care program is intended to assist people with early-stage memory loss and their care partners by providing free early-stage related education and training workshops designed to reduce stress, enhance well-being, and help manage challenges.

The study is currently in the recruitment phase. Inclusion criteria:

18-years-old or older
Speak, read, and write English or Spanish
Live in a community setting (rather than a long-term care facility)
