Pima Council On Aging and various dedicated community partners provide meals served at lunch sites to older adults who are 60 and older. In addition to meals, the center offers recreational, educational, and healthy living programs. You must register in advance to attend. Call the center manager for more information or to register.

Alana's Art Cart
Alana's Art Cart brings customized visual art projects to your location (private home or assisted living care home.) Projects are geared toward older adults with special needs. The projects are individualized and adapted to physical and cognitive challenges.
Individual art coaching in your home: $35 for 60 - 75-minute session (Caregiver may participate at no extra charge); plus some art supplies
Small Collaborative Art Group (Assisted Living & Memory Care Home): $90 for a 90-minute session; plus art supplies

Arizona Talking Book Library provides audio and braille book and magazine downloads, audiobooks, and magazines on the cartridge, books, and magazines in printed braille, movies with audio descriptions, and loans of specialized equipment to play audiobooks. Library materials sent through postage-free mail. The library also provides access to NFB Newsline and over 500 newspapers and magazines by phone and online. The Center's Elder Circles program provides free monthly dialogue Circles at locations around Tucson, Green Valley, and Oro Valley. Elders are invited to explore "the Wisdom Journey" together through conversations guided by trained facilitators. Each one-hour Elder Circle focuses on topics relevant to the life stage known as "elderhood," including life review, life repair, leaving a legacy, and mentoring. The safe and respectful format ensures all voices are heard, enabling greater connections with others and one's self.
