The Arizona Long Term Care System (ALTCS) is a part of AHCCCS, Arizona’s  version of Medicaid. ALTCS provides long-term care in assisted living facilities and nursing homes and provides in-home care for individuals who would otherwise  be institutionalized. It is a complex income- and asset-limited program. PCOA offers a workshop on ALTCS the second Thursday of each month.
