Various programs offer different forms of transportation and often require advanced notice for a ride. Volunteer transportation groups typically provide rides that are customized to the passenger. Public transportation has reduced fare/rates for older adults and people who are low-income.

Arivaca Coordinating Council Human Resource Group provides Arivaca's town with many services such as daily nutritious meals for qualifying individuals, emergency food packages, access to energy assistance, and an on-site thrift store. Meals are served on-site at our office or by home delivery within Arivaca. Pre-registration is required. Arivaca Human Resource also provides referral services for the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). Funds can be used to pay for current or past month’s electric or gas bill, as well as late fees and reconnects fees. Water payment assistance is available between May and October. You may only receive help through this agency once per year for financial support. To receive assistance, call for an appointment.
