Caregiver Support Groups
NOTICE: All participants in our in-person events will be required to wear masks and adhere to PCOA distancing and safety guidelines, regardless of vaccination status. To assure your safety and that of others, depending on the situation with COVID-19 in our community, the event may be canceled or changed from an in-person event to a virtual event. Once registered, you will be notified regarding any such changes, should they occur, and provided with information about how to join the virtual event and additional options.
IMPORTANT – Click here to view our COVID-19 Information and Updates page for updated programming changes. Family Caregiver Support Groups are being held as scheduled. Contact us at 305-3405 or firstname.lastname@example.org to receive instructions for joining. See more information in the document below.
Are you overwhelmed by caregiving challenges? You could benefit from the support of people who can relate to your experiences.
Support groups provide safe, welcoming, and confidential settings for you to share your experiences and emotions, as well as your questions and wisdom. You can learn and practice ways to manage stress as you connect with others. PCOA provides monthly support groups in various Pima County locations. Support groups are open to any adult providing care for someone 60 and older, or for someone of any age with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia.
You can find a group near you! Please call 520-305-3405 to register for a group. You are not alone!
